My fun photos (Oregon - summer '08)

A picture REALLY can mean a thousand words.

These pictures were taken in Oregon at the very end of summer(school break, summer) on a trip. I spent a week and a half with my cousin Andrew, who lives down the street from my grandparens, and my cousins Hannah and Aja, who live in Utah...and the Timpanogos temple is what they see every morning they wake up. The're dad and the two girls drove to Salem, Oregon to spend a week with all of there cousin that they haven't seen in a long time. We, being Me, Andrew, Hannah, Aja, and their dad, Uncle Pops(david), had decided to take a trip to Depot Bay, Oregon (coast) and camp at Beverly Beach for about four days. So this is where all of these pictures were taken. Thats where the most memories were made. And this trip all together made me realize how special family is. Also, that I get all my dysfunctions and wellnesses, from my moms side...you'll see in the pictures. So watch my story.

The night we arrived at Beverly Beach, we set up camp then took a walk to see the Sunset.

Not even into Salem yet. This brought some great laughter between Hannah, me, and Andrew.
This dog would have tried to eaten me had she been 20 pounds heavier, Shinay. But she looks like she's smiling in this. I like this picture.

Disfunctional at the least.
We went shopping in Depot Bay. Yes. I do love them.

Another funny Story. Aja needed a calculator for school when she returned to Utah, so on our way to the coast we stopped at Walmart and got her her handy dandy calculator. And all during our caost trip, she spent most of the time playing with it. Huh? right? Well in this picture we were sitting in the car. Andrew and Uncle pops ran into the store to get some food for us to eat for breakfast and suddenly Aja exclaims to me:

Aja, "My calculator has an attidtude"
Me- "What?"
Aja- "Yeah, I went to quit a game cause I didn't
know how to play it, and its like, what?!
Is this to HARD for you?"

The boys hadn't come back yet, and about ten minutes after Aja's calculator thing, this happened between me and Hannah in the back seat.

Me- "You took the picture yourself and now I'm gonna stick it on my myspace."
Hannah- "No!"
Hannah went to delete it- "Chanae! you locked it! Ah!"
Me- "Haha."

This is probably my most favorite 'portrait' pictures I took this entire trip. This dog, Shinay, has a problem with me. This dog is VERY attached to Aja so I just love this.
(I don't get it. We have the same name?)

Can't you just FEEL the love?

I don't believe she had any Idea what was going on behind her.

Until I showed her the picture...Hannah then HIT Andrew.

Sunrise the day before we left morning.
Andrew climbed up the hill up to the freeway that morning to.

The night before we left sunset.

Last night before we left for home...It was a great night.
Andrew and Hannah Hugging.

I shoved a camera in his face. Wouldn't you have the same expression?

A couple days before we went to the coast. We decided to take a trip to some waterfall. Can't remember the name but that trip was awesome. I fell so many times too, but the best time was when Andrew and I were racing to the visitors store and I cut the corner through some sawdust and so rocks. As I jumped over the rock the tip of my shoe caught and I ended flipping about five feet then tumbled another five feet or so. If you know me well enough then you wouldn't be surprised that the first thing I did, as I was laying flat on my back, was raise my arms and yell to Andrew "That Was AWESOME!!". Of course many people that had been sitting and watched this whole thing occur started busting up laughing, then Andrew and I joined in. I even beat him to the store after the fact. I got beat up pretty bad, bruised and banged. But that memory will forever lie in my memory.

On the way out of Mill City, OR. I was taken random pictures out the window from the floor.

Aja finally let me take a picture.

Hannah wasn't feeling very good once we got under the Waterfall. So we all made her really annoyed.
